Kalika restaurant

I really recommend this restaurant if you live in the Karon area! :) We had lunch here and ordered Green curry, Satay chicken skewers and sweet and sour grilled fish. Everything was delicious and the ingredients were very fresh Also, to our surprise, the water was free as well as the garlic bread they served us as an appetiser and the papaya, watermelon and mango sticky rice they served to us Also, the prices were very reasonable compared to the surrounding restaurants and the restaurant itself had a very authentic and low-key atmosphere that really put us at ease :) Overall we had a very pleasant experience!

Highly recommend it if you live in the Karon area.We ordered fried rice with egg and chicken and pineapple rice with beef, everything was delicious and the portions are large.They served us also water, garlic bread and a plate of fruit with sticky rice at the end for free which were really good.The restaurant itself had a very authentic atmosphere, prices are reasonable compared to the surrounding restaurants and the service was great.Card payment is accepted.

We really enjoyed eating dinner at Kalika tonight! They brought out free still water, free garlic bread and free fruit with sticky rice after our meals! Sure, the garlic bread was small with very little garlic butter, but the fruit platter and sticky rice was great!The food was really cheap and it was quite an affordable night even with a cocktail each! I particularly liked the yellow noodle stir fry with beef and also had the duck breast with greens. The duck breast was small, but I expected that for the price and it came with a decent amount of greens. The T-bone steak wasn’t high quality, but was a good size and although the cocktails had a lot of cordial in them to hide the alcohol content, they were mixed well and had a good taste.For affordability, location and can’t go past happy, friendly staff I’m very pleased to give a good rating for tonight’s dinner! Beautiful decorative atmosphere too.

It is a tiny place, but has absolutely amazing authentic Thai food. The appetizers are a solid hit after a hit, and the duck is very well made. I have not had duck this good for a while.It is a small place, so might be hard to find a place to sit down. However, it is well worth it. Very reasonable prices, not over blown like in some restaurants around. The mojito is very well made and tastes super refreshing.Not to mention they also gift a mango sticky rice at the end of your meal. I was very taken aback by it. Honestly 10/10.

Amazing food! One of the best restaurants we tried in Thailand. They have most of the traditional dishes. Very cheap and delicious!

Best restaurant in Phuket! The food is great! Prices are good! There is no AC but the amazing cocktails keep you cool! Pai was an extremely friendly and welcoming host! The order even came with an extra desert! Couldn’t recommend it more

A fantastic dining experience. The fragrant stir-fried morning glory was savory and the duck curry with grapes was elegant, while the red curry with green pepper and basil stood out. The crispy fried prawns were excellent served with a sweet dip, and the coconut rice with mango really a perfect dessert, a lot of complexity and a saltiness that really balanced the dish. This relaxed tavern is always packed, and for good reason.

Food tasted great and staff was very friendly. They bring out a few small pieces of garlic bread to start and give you fruits to end the meal. Made the rookie mistake of ordering the Phad Thai “medium spicy” but it came out equivalent to a 5 star American spicy and it was difficult to eat. Everything else was great though!
